Submission Guidelines
Welcome to The Unity Project

Originally I came up with this idea way back in 2001 and finally I have decided now is the time to start this project. Please follow the simple guidelines below to submit your picture(s) to the project.

1. Create a sign that says the word UNITY on it. You can make it as creative or simple as you choose.

2. Pick a place in your city, your home or anywhere you think is fun or unique to take a picture. You can send in as many pictures as you like, as long as they are all in different locations, but they must contain the UNITY sign you created.

3. Have yourself or as many people as you can get in the picture with you, pose with the sign that says UNITY. There must be at least one person in the picture. You can also pose with pets or animals.

4. Snap a picture. Digital images are preferred for the moment, until we can set up a proper mailing address.

5. Email the picture(s) to unityproject@gmail.com

OR add your submission to the Flickr Group created for this project here : The Unity Project

6. Please include your name, the location, and date of the where and when the picture was taken. Include any details that you think we should know, for instance if you took the picture with a group of people, please include everyone's name as they would like to be credited.

7. You may also include a write up containing no more than 1500 words on why you think the world should support unity of all countries and all people. This is optional and doesn't have to be done, but if you have something you'd like the world to know, this is your chance to say it. Send it along in the email with the picture.

8. More guidelines may or may not be included as we continue the project, your suggestions are always welcome. I will be adding my own images as well as samples to get the whole thing started. I am also planning to co-ordinate a Unity Day, on which I hope to have people all over the world snap a picture at the exact same time, all over the world. Stay tuned for details.

and ENJOY
